Menu bar in IE 9 – Press the “ALT” key on the keyboard

It is that simple!

To make the menu bar to display permanently in IE9:
1.Click Start – Run and type gpedit.msc and press Enter (in Windows 7 just type gpedit.msc in the search box on the bottom left of the Start screen)
2.On the left pane select User Configuration – Administrative Templates – and Click on Windows Components
3 On the right pane select Internet Explorer and double click it
4.Select Turn on menu bar by default and double click it and select “Enabled”

You are done, BUT…
If you want the menu bar to be on the top of the navigation toolbar Don’t live the gpedit screen yet:
On the same Internet Explorer window:

Select the option Moving the menu bar above the navigation bar and double click it and select it as Enabled
now you are done!
