What are google doodles?

Perhaps the best definition of google doodles come from… you guessed right: the google doodle website:

“…Doodles are known as the decorative changes that are made to the Google logo to celebrate holidays, anniversaries, and the lives of famous artists and scientists.”

The following site also contains all the google doodles since 1998:

One of my favorites google doodles is an interactive one that contains the strings of a acoustic guitar honoring the musician Les Paul’s 96th birthday. It was displayed on June 9 and 10th 2011

you could even record your tune as you touched the strings!

Very clever indeed!
