Creating and delaying dependencies in Windows


In Windows you can create, modify and delay the loading of a specific Windows service. Sometimes you may want to ensure that one service has started and is available for use before another.
You can accomplish such tasks via the registry.

This is the registry key where dependencies are created and removed:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\
