Changing IMA username credentials via ODBC or IMA Helper Tool – Product XenApp 6.5


Changing ODBC connection

Where: Windows Server 2008 R2

Where in Server: Administrative tools-> ODBC ->File Dsn->go to path C:\Program Files\Citrix\IMA.-> Select mf20.dsn
Click on Configure
From the Driver list select SQL server
Select Database
Enter the User id(uid) credentials.
Select Database(default master)
Run test
Check if the test is successful  or not
Change the password:
dsmaint config /user:domain\newusername /pwd:newuserpwd /dsn:”c:\program files\citrix\independent management architecture\mf20.dsn”
OR

Run IMA HElper Tool (GUI tool)

Does it give an error?
E.G. Citrix XenApp failed to connect to the data store. ODBC error while connecting to the database : General error. Invalid File dsn

What to try:

Login to the SQL server
Launch the SQL management studio
Are you able to login successfully ?
If getting incorrect credentials

You need another set of credentials
